How many posts are published in MAX every day: an average of about 708 thousand, a record of 825,843. Weekdays and weekends, views, reactions, advertising and how many channels write daily — according to data datool.ru .

Schedule "Publications by day" from the page "MAX Statistics": columns of posts for four weeks from September 27 to October 24, tabs of indicators and a signed record

In the open channels of the MAX messenger, an average of about 708 thousand posts per day come out. This is the result for the four weeks from September 28 to October 25, 2026 according to datool.ru : for 28 days — 19.8 million publications. On a weekday there are an average of 765 thousand posts, on a weekend — 564 thousand, 26% less.

The record of the period is Friday, October 23, 2026: 825,843 posts from 190,164 channels. The quietest day is Sunday, October 11: 508,124 posts. MAX posts average about 1.1 billion views and 22 million reactions per day, and every 28th post is advertising.

Below is a detailed dynamics of publications by day: how the number of posts changes from week to week, how weekends differ from weekdays, how many channels write every day and who actually produces the bulk of content in MAX.

What are "publications by day" and where to view them

Publications per day are all posts published per calendar day in open MAX channels that are in the catalog datool.ru . Group chats and private conversations are not counted: datool.ru collects only public channels.

The "Publications by day" schedule is on the "MAX Statistics" page. It shows 28 full days until yesterday, the record is signed right on the chart. The switch above the chart changes the indicator:

  • Posts — how many publications were published in a day.
  • Views — how many views were gained by posts published that day.
  • Reactions — how many reactions these posts have collected.
  • The channels wrote — how many different channels released at least one post.
  • Advertising — how many of these posts are advertising.

Views and reactions are linked to the day the post was published, not to the day they were posted. Therefore, they are still growing in recent days: the post gets views for several days.

How many posts are published in MAX per day: four weeks in numbers

Results by week from Monday to Sunday:

  • September 28 — October 4, 2026 — 4.78 million posts.
  • October 5-11 — 4.87 million
  • October 12-18 — 4.97 million
  • October 19-25 — 5.19 million

In three weeks, the weekly volume has grown by 8.6%. Part of the growth is MAX itself: new channels appear in the messenger. Part — extension of the catalog: datool.ru Every day it finds new channels, from October 12 to October 26 — from 754 to 11 210 per day. All of them get into the statistics from the moment they were found.

The last week has set several records in a row: on Wednesday, October 21, — 802,229 posts, on Thursday, the 22nd, - 811,955, on Friday, the 23rd, — 825,843. This is the largest daily volume for the entire period.

Weekdays and weekends: a quarter less posts

Average volume by day of the week for four weeks:

  • Monday — 756 thousand posts.
  • Tuesday — 742 thousand.
  • Wednesday — 770 thousand.
  • Thursday — 783 thousand. The most active day on average.
  • Friday — 774 thousand.
  • Saturday — 578 thousand.
  • Sunday — 550 thousand. The quietest day.

The difference between weekdays and weekends is stable every week: there are 26% fewer posts on Saturday and Sunday. I wonder where this decline is coming from.

They write at least as often — they write fewer channels. On a weekday, at least one post is produced by an average of 180 thousand channels, on a weekend — 129 thousand, 28% less. But one active channel writes almost the same way: 4.25 posts on weekdays and 4.36 on weekends. It turns out that on weekends some of the channels are simply silent — most likely, those who are being conducted as work: departments, educational institutions, companies.

There are more views on the post on weekends. A post published on a weekday gets an average of about 1,500 views, and on a weekend — about 1,660, 10% more. There are fewer posts, but readers have not gone anywhere — attention is divided between fewer publications. The distribution by days of the week and hours is shown on the "day of the week × hour" map on the "MAX Statistics" page.

Views and reactions by day

In 28 days, posts released during this period have gained 30.4 billion views and 621 million reactions. On average it is:

  • about 1.09 billion views per day;
  • about 22.2 million reactions per day;
  • about 20 reactions for every 1,000 views.

The most "read" day is Wednesday, October 14, 2026: posts of this day have gained 1.22 billion views and 25.1 million reactions. This is the maximum for both indicators.

In terms of views, weekends sag less than in posts: on weekdays, the posts of the day gain an average of 1.15 billion views, on weekends — 934 million, 19% less (posts — 26% less).

Advice

Do not compare the views of recent days with earlier ones directly. The post gets views for several days, so the number of fresh days is lower and then it will grow. For honest comparisons, take days that are already at least two or three days old.

Advertising posts by day

An advertising post is a publication marked with an erid, marked "Advertising" or a link to the outside with a call to buy. The detector is cautious: it is better to skip the advertisement than to call the usual news an advertisement, so the real share is usually slightly higher. Exactly how the ad is located is described on the "How advertising statistics are calculated" page.

For 28 days, 703,205 advertising posts were published in open channels — an average of 25 thousand per day, 3.5% of all publications. Dynamics (the last two days are weekends, and the weekend share of advertising is usually higher):

  • The first three weeks — 3.1–3.5% of posts per day.
  • Weekdays on October 19-23 — 3.6–3.9%.
  • Saturday, October 24, — 4.6%.
  • Sunday, October 25 - 5.9%, 34,522 advertising posts. This is the maximum of the period both by share and by number. But this is the most recent day of the schedule: it can still be replenished, so it's too early to draw conclusions on it.

On weekends, advertising sags less than the rest of the content: advertising posts are on average 17% less than on weekdays, and all posts are 26% less. Therefore, the share of advertising on Saturday and Sunday is usually higher.

How many MAX channels write every day

As of October 26, 2026, there are 607,392 active open channels with subscribers in the catalog. Of these:

  • over the past day, 158 369 channels wrote — 26%;
  • for a week — 307,369, about half;
  • for 30 days — 384 780, 63%.

Only every fourth channel writes every day. But this is an average through very different channels. The proportion of people who wrote per day by audience size:

  • Up to 100 subscribers — 15%.
  • 100–1 000 — 43 %.
  • 1 000–10 000 — 74 %.
  • 10 000–100 000 — 86 %.
  • 100,000 – 1 million — 89%.
  • From 1 million — 6 out of 7 channels.

The larger the channel, the more regularly it writes. Almost all channels from 10 thousand subscribers publish something daily, but most of the very small ones do not.

Who produces the bulk of posts in MAX

The most unexpected thing in the daily statistics is where the posts come from. The week of October 18-24, 2026 by channel size:

  • Channels up to 1,000 subscribers — 66% of all posts and 4% of views.
  • Channels from 1,000 to 10,000 — 25% of posts and 18% of views.
  • Channels from 10,000 subscribers — 9% of posts and 78% of views.

Two thirds of MAX publications are produced by small channels, but they are read by few. And large channels give less than a tenth of the posts and collect almost four-fifths of all views. Therefore, "how many posts are published in MAX" and "what is read in MAX" are two different questions. The whole mass of channels responds to the first one, and several thousand of the largest ones respond to the second one.

How many posts a typical channel of each size publishes per week can be found in the article "How often to publish in the MAX channel".

How to read the chart by day: three corrections

The daily MAX chart looks simple, but it has three features, without which it is easy to draw the wrong conclusion.

  1. The catalog is growing. datool.ru every day he finds new channels and from that moment on he takes into account their publications. Therefore, part of the increase in posts from week to week is not "MAX began to write more," but "we see more channels." To assess the growth of the messenger itself, compare not absolute numbers, but fractions and averages per channel.
  2. The last days are filling up. Large channels are updated every few minutes, small channels are updated once a day. Posts of small channels for yesterday may appear in statistics a little later, and views of fresh posts are growing for several more days. The rightmost column of the graph may grow a little over time.
  3. The weekly cycle is stronger than any trend. There are about 30% fewer posts on Sunday than on Friday, and the growth in three weeks is less than 10%. If we compare Monday with last Sunday, we get "growth of more than a third," which in fact does not exist. Compare the same days of the week or whole weeks.

With these amendments, the daily schedule shows the main thing well: the steady rhythm of the messenger, slow volume growth and rare deviations that should be double—checked in a few days - for example, a high proportion of advertising on October 24-25.

How to use daily MAX statistics

To the channel owner:

  • Compare your rhythm with the general one. The "Publication Schedule" tab on your channel page shows how often and when your posts are published — put it next to the general schedule on the "MAX Statistics".
  • Keep in mind that the competition for attention is lower on weekends: there are 26% fewer posts, and 10% more views per post. An important post on Saturday morning is not the worst idea.
  • If you write every few days, you are in the majority: 74% of channels have not published anything in the last 24 hours.

To the advertiser:

  • On weekends, the share of advertising is higher — advertising posts there are more closely adjacent to each other.
  • Focus on views, not on the number of posts: the bulk of publications fall on small channels with small coverage.

To the journalist and analyst:

  • Specify the period and date of the snapshot: "an average of 708 thousand posts per day for September 28 — October 25, 2026."
  • Compare the same days of the week: Monday with Monday, Sunday with Sunday.

To see what is happening right now, open the "Today in MAX" page: there are totals of the last 24 hours and a comparison with the same time yesterday. There is also a schedule of publications by the hour.
