According to datool.ru, as of October 26, 2026, the largest MAX channel is "MAX • Анонсы" (MAX • Announcements), the messenger's official announcements channel, with 3,708,461 subscribers. Second place goes to "Central TikTok" (1,524,019) and third to "Мир сегодня с Юрием Подолякой" (The World Today with Yuri Podolyaka, 1,468,961). Seven MAX channels currently have more than a million subscribers, and 399 have more than 100,000.

Below is the top 40 of MAX channels by subscribers with links, categories and Quality Index, a look at which topics attract the largest audiences, and how subscriber count differs from actual reach. At the end we show where to find the full top-100 ranking, which updates every hour.

The ranking includes only public MAX channels that are actively posting. Group chats and private channels are not part of it.

How many MAX channels have a million or 100,000 subscribers

As of October 26, 2026, datool.ru sees 607,392 public active MAX channels with subscribers. 2,691 of them hide their subscriber count; the rest break down by size as follows:

• 1 million subscribers and up — 7 channels. About 11.5 million subscribers combined.
• 100,000 to 1 million — 392 channels. About 76.3 million subscribers.
• 10,000 to 100,000 — 5,717 channels. About 144.5 million.
• 1,000 to 10,000 — 39,810 channels. About 109.9 million.
• 100 to 1,000 — 144,002 channels. About 45 million.
• Under 100 subscribers — 414,773 channels. About 9.8 million.

So there are 399 channels with 100,000+ subscribers, less than 0.07% of all channels. Yet they hold about 22% of all subscribers of public channels, and during October 18–24 their posts collected 38.5% of all MAX views. The "heaviest" tier by subscribers is 10,000–100,000: almost six thousand channels with more subscribers than any other group.

Keep in mind that subscribers are subscriptions, not people. One person usually follows many channels, so the sum of all channels' subscribers exceeds the number of messenger users.

Broken down by category, the top 40 looks like this:

• News and media — 16 channels. Almost half the list, from "РИА Новости" and "Mash" to Moscow city channels.
• Humor and entertainment — 5. Three channels with TikTok in the name ("Central TikTok", "TikTok Central Prime", "TikTok Prime"), plus "МЕМАЧ" and "КОТЯТА ПОЯСНЯЮТ".
• Ministries and agencies — 2. "Кремль. Новости" and "Госуслуги".
• Sales, shopping and discounts — 2. "OZON" and "WILDBERRIES".
• Cars and transport — 2. "ГдеБЕНЗ" and "АЭРОФЛОТ".
• Military and defense — 2. "Операция Z: Военкоры Русской Весны" and "Два майора".

Subscribers are not reach: how many people see a large channel's post

Subscribers are how many people follow a channel. Post reach is how many views a post got. ERR is the share of subscribers who see a typical post: ERR = median post views ÷ subscribers × 100%.

Large channels usually have a lower share than small ones. A rough estimate for all of MAX over October 18–24, comparing average views per post with the average subscriber count of channels in the same tier:

• 1 million subscribers and up — about 25%. A post got about 408,000 views on average.
• 100,000 to 1 million — about 23%. About 44,800 views per post on average.
• 10,000 to 100,000 — about 29%.
• 1,000 to 10,000 — about 37%.

So when buying ads, compare channels by post reach, not by subscribers. • The median QI in the top 40 is 71, versus 67 for all MAX channels.
• 20 of 37 channels are rated "good" (70–84). No channel in the top 40 is rated "high" (85+).
• Highest: "Мир сегодня с Юрием Подолякой" (80), "Два майора" (79), "Моя Москва" (78).
• Lowest: "OZON", "Ozon Travel" and "TikTok Central Prime" (58 each).

A large audience does not by itself produce a high score: the index looks at reach and engagement relative to similar channels, not at size.

The Citation Index (CI) shows how often and by which channels a channel is mentioned over the last 30 days. This is where subscriber leaders diverge the most:
